In the last 24 hours, the police have received 16 complaints from citizens and 12 businesses for violation of measures against the spread of coronavirus.
In a statement to CNA, a spokesman for the communication branch of the police said that during the last 24 hours, which ended at 06:00 on Friday morning, a total of 1,778 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
Specifically, in Nicosia 554 checks were carried out and 5 citizens and 8 establishments were reported, in Limassol 171 checks were carried out with complaints from 3 citizens and 3 establishments, in Larnaca 2 citizens and a manager of an establishment were reported after 385 checks, in Paphos 73 checks were made without any complaints , in Famagusta 6 citizens were complained about after 359 checks, while in the Morphou area 88 checks were made without any complaints.
