The police have received 14 complaints from citizens and 9 establishments for violation of measures against the spread of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
As a spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA, during the last 24 hours, which ended at 06:00 on Thursday morning, a total of 1,854 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia 437 checks were carried out and 4 citizens and 5 establishments were reported, in Limassol 145 checks were carried out with 2 citizens and 3 establishments reported, in Larnaca 3 citizens were reported after 397 checks, in Paphos 1 establishment was reported after 181 checks, in Famagusta 5 citizens were reported after 434 checks, while in the Morphou area 157 checks were carried out without any complaints.
Finally, the Traffic Police Departments carried out 103 checks without any complaints.
