Several roads in the mountainous areas of the Morphou region are closed for all vehicles, while several other roads in the mountainous areas of Limassol and Nicosia are open only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with anti-slip chains, according to a police statement.
It is also reported that all roads in the mountainous areas are slippery due to frost.
Specifically, in the mountainous areas of Morphou, closed for all vehicles are the roads Pedoulas - Prodromos, Pedoulas - Pine Wood - Kakopetrias, Prodromos - Platron, while the roads Pedoulas - Kykkos - Kambos - Platres, Kakopetrias - Karvounas and Kakopetrias - Spilia - Cannabia are open only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with anti-slip chains.
