The clashes in Chloraka were the focus of a wide-ranging meeting aimed at making decisions on how to deal with the situation.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Justice, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Justice and Public Order, the Minister of Interior, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, the Chief of Police and a representative of the Legal Service and "discussed the events that took place in Chloraka with the aim of addressing the irregular situation that has been created".
"During the meeting, the entire situation that has been created was discussed in order to assess the problem in a broader way and to take the right decisions immediately in order to address the issue in its entirety in a coordinated manner by all services," the statement said.
