[CNA] Chr. Health Minister's Informal Meeting.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health, Christina Giannakis, focused on issues of strengthening cooperation between EU Member States at pan-European level to ensure the health of its citizens, beyond the pandemic, during her intervention at the Informal Meeting of EU Health Ministers held yesterday, February 10, in Grenoble.

According to a communiqué, referring to the unprecedented public health crisis, Ms Giannaki said that the pandemic provides an opportunity, through the Public Health Programme "EU4Health", to fund projects such as the European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA), the European Beating Cancer Plan, the European Strategy for Medicines.
