Cyprus will welcome children with cancer from Ukraine, together with their parents, will offer them the treatment they need and will accommodate them for as long as needed to complete the treatments, offering accommodation and anything else needed for the treatment of the children, Elpida Foundation said in a statement.
It notes that due to the war in Ukraine, among other humanitarian tragedies unfolding, most children with cancer remain without treatment.
"The result is that their lives are endangered by the rapid progression of the cancer from which they suffer.
