The experience of childhood cancer is a difficult, often frightening condition for those who are unexpectedly confronted with it, says the Cyprus Paediatric Society (CPS) in a statement.
On the occasion of World Childhood Cancer Day, the CBC expresses its wholehearted support to all children and families who have experienced or are experiencing this difficult journey.
On the other side, it says, we find allies in medical science, our ever-increasing scientific knowledge for early diagnosis and prevention, modern and constantly upgrading detection methods, innovative treatments.
