The rapid change that is taking place in the field of electronic money with the influential application of new forms of technology, the pending changes in the regulatory framework and the increasing importance of consumer protection, were the issues highlighted, among others, at the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Cyprus International Financial Firms (ACIFF).
According to ACIFF's announcement today, in a speech during the proceedings of the AGM, which was attended online by dozens of delegates, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission George Theocharides stressed the need to use all available resources and technological solutions to ensure that regulated entities remain compliant with increasing regulatory requirements and investor protection procedures.
