A case of theft of a sum of money, amounting to seven and a half thousand euros, from the home of an elderly woman in Paralimni, is being investigated by the Famagusta CID.
As Steve Theodoulou, spokesman for the Famagusta Police Directorate, told CNA, yesterday, Wednesday 9 March, an elderly woman resident of Paralimni complained to the Famagusta CID that in the morning of the same day she was visited at her home by an unknown man.
The man, pretending that he was selling household utensils, entered the house of the elderly woman and allegedly stole the sum of 7500 euros.
