Bulgaria does not consider it necessary to deploy NATO troops on its territory in response to the concentration of Russian forces near the border with Ukraine, the country's defence minister said today.
Stefan Yanev confirmed reports that various options are being discussed within NATO. One of them is the establishment of the military alliance's presence in Bulgaria and Romania, the two NATO member countries in the Black Sea, within the framework of the "Enhanced Forward Presence" mission. (EfP).
