Hungary has banned all grain exports, a measure with immediate effect, due to price increases caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Agriculture Minister Istvan Nagy told RTL television channel on Friday evening.
The minister added that the government decree on the ban will be published later today.
In addition, Russia's Industry Ministry today recommended that fertilizer producers temporarily suspend their exports, claiming that foreign companies are "sabotaging" by obstructing the transport of this product.
