The Supreme Court on Monday acquitted the young British woman, who denounced the gang rape of 12 Israelis in Ayia Napa in the summer of 2019, of a four-month suspended prison sentence.
Recall that in January 2020, the British woman was convicted of public harm after falsely reporting that she was raped by 12 Israelis in Ayia Napa in the summer of 2019.
According to the reasoning of the judgment, the then 19-year-old British woman reported her rape, which she then recanted.
