Eight puppies found in the buffer zone were rescued on Monday by members of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), who took them to a dog shelter in Nicosia.
According to a social media post by the British contingent of UNFICYP, British Army peacekeepers working for the United Nations in Cyprus rescued eight puppies this morning, which they found in the buffer zone and handed them over to the team at the Nicosia Dog Shelter.
