The Olympic Committees of Britain and Germany call for the immediate exclusion of Russia and Belarus from international sporting events.
In a joint statement, the two Committees call on the international sports federations to ban for the time being athletes representing Russia and Belarus from participating in the Games and to remove Russian and Belarusian officials from their positions.
As they note, the British and German Committees stand united with the people, athletes and Olympic family of Ukraine "following this unacceptable and unjustified declaration of war against them".
