Oil prices are making a new jump of more than 7% with Brent hitting $112 a barrel on Wednesday morning, while the price of key European natural gas soared to 142 euros per megawatt hour, from around 128 euros on Tuesday, while developments in Ukraine.
Specifically, Brent crude was up 7.49%, or $7.86, at around 9.50 Cyprus time to $112.90 a barrel, while US WTI crude was up 7.5%, or $7.87, at $111.30 a barrel, its highest level since at least September 2013.
