[/ATTACH][BR] Hong Kong opened with strong gains on Asian bourses on Thursday, boosted by signs of progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine and expectations of more support for China's volatile economy.
As Reuters reports, pan-European equity futures also looked poised for a firmer opening, rising 0.21%. U.S. equity futures showed a slightly lower restart, but followed a 2.2% rise for the S&P 500 overnight.
