Stock markets in Asia opened with a small rise, with Asian financial markets pushing up after yesterday's small gains in the US stock market.
After yesterday's sell-off especially in European stock markets, but also the milder economic sanctions against Russia which invaded Ukraine, the Hang Seng index in Hong Kong opened marginally higher, up 6.54 points at 22,908, after yesterday's 3.2% drop.
