Two people aged 37 and 21 years old were arrested in Larnaca for facilitating police investigations into an ongoing case of conspiracy to commit a felony.
In a written statement by the Police Headquarters Communication Office, it is stated that "in the context of investigating cases of theft of catalytic converters from cars, offences committed between the dates of 1 - 17 March, in the city and district of Larnaca, members of the Larnaca CID located on the afternoon of Thursday 17 of the month, in the parking lot of an apartment building in Larnaca, a car in which a person was in".
It is added that "from the examinations carried out it was established that an arrest warrant was pending against this person, aged 37, for the offences of conspiracy to commit a felony, and burglary of a building and theft, and he was arrested".
