A total of 100 counterfeit 10 euro notes were found by the police in a package that arrived at the Limassol post office, while a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were arrested for the case.
According to the Limassol CID, an employee of the Limassol post office informed that a bundle of 10 euro notes was found inside a package that arrived from abroad and was to be received by a 24-year-old woman.
Members of the CID went to the site and found that there were a total of one hundred ten euro banknotes, bearing the same serial number, which were counterfeit.
