A young man aged 29 was arrested to facilitate police investigations in connection with a case of cocaine, weighing 265 grams, which was found hidden inside motorcycle parts sent to Cyprus.
In a written statement from the Police Headquarters Communication Office, it is stated that "after assessing information about the arrival of a package in Cyprus, which may have contained drugs, members of the Police, in cooperation with members of the Customs Department, located and inspected the package, following a search at the offices of a courier company in Larnaca".
It is added that "an investigation found that within the package there were three motorcycle carburetors with built-in air filters.
