A 37-year-old man, a resident of Larnaca, was arrested to facilitate police investigations in connection with an ongoing case of illegal possession of drugs with the purpose of supplying them to another person.
A statement from the Police Headquarters Communication Office said that at around six in the afternoon of Sunday 3 April, members of the police stopped the car driven by the 37-year-old man on a Larnaca road for control. During the check carried out, a bag containing three nylon packets containing cannabis weighing a total of 80 grams was found in the possession of the 37-year-old.
