A 28-year-old person was arrested in Larnaca for facilitating police interrogations in connection with an investigation into the discovery of a kilo of cannabis.
A written statement from the Police Headquarters Communication Office said that "following an evaluation of information and a coordinated operation by the Anti-Narcotics Service, yesterday one kilogram of dry cannabis plant material in a nylon package was located and seized in an open area in Larnaca district."
It is added that "in the framework of the investigation of the case, members of the Drug Enforcement Agency proceeded to the arrest of a young man, aged 28 years old".
