Paphos CID is investigating a case of impersonation against a 24-year-old woman who went to Paphos airport to depart for Germany.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, yesterday around 21:00 at night a member of the Paphos Airport passport control centre was conducting a passport check at the departures area where a woman of African origin presented herself to travel on a flight to Cologne, Germany.
This woman allegedly presented a Belgian passport which during passport control was found to be prima facie genuine but there were major differences in the features of the person depicted in the photograph.
