The Hestia project will include applications that had received substandard handling by banks, said Finance Minister Konstantinos Petridis, who spoke of bad practice by banks, adding that this issue will be discussed with the Association of Banks.
In statements after Wednesday's Cabinet meeting, Petridis said that one of the main criteria for inclusion in the Hestia plan for NPLs and main home protection is that the loans were non-performing as of both July 30, 2017 and June 30, 2019.
