Phase 1 of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works' Electric Vehicle Sponsorship Schemes goes into effect from Monday at 11am. As announced, Phase A will run from 20 December 2021 to 3 January 2022, with an allocation of €8 million.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Transport, interested parties will be able to submit their applications online via the website www.ev.gov.cy. It is clarified that applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date of submission.
The Scheme, according to the Ministry, is for the purchase of a new or used electric vehicle and the beneficiaries are individuals as well as professionals and legal entities.
