Any disability "does not mean fatalistic marginalization" and children must realize this, said the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, Prodromos Prodromou, who was speaking after a Unified Football Demonstration match for Visually Impaired and Non-Visually Impaired, which was held as part of the "A Ball for All" programme.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Education, Prodromou said that "as part of the activities organized in schools for the month of empathy for people with disabilities, we organized this match so that we can all understand what it is like to be able to play football when you have a visual disability, but also to understand how children with visual disabilities can enjoy football, even with difficulties."
