Answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding Home General Nursing Services in the GHS: who are the beneficiaries and what is covered by the GHS, are given in an announcement broadcast by the GTC.
As stated, home-based general nursing services were included in the GHS in December 2020, offering the possibility for specific groups of beneficiaries to receive specialized health care services at home.
It is added that access to these services is by referral from the Personal Physician or Specialist Physician and applies to beneficiaries who have been registered by the Personal Physician as "categorised".
