Car sales in the Chinese market recorded an annual increase of 3.8% to 26.28 million vehicles in 2021, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed yesterday.
Passenger vehicle sales in 2021 recorded an annual increase of 6.5% to 21.48 million units. In December 2021, car sales were recorded at 2.79 million units, with an annual decline of 1.6%, according to CAAM data.
