The total number of mobile users increased by 24,885 users in the second half of 2021 compared to the second half of 2020, according to data from the Office of the Commissioner for Electronic Communications Regulation (BEREC).
The contract subscription rate shows an increase of 1.4% compared to the 1st half of 2021. The ratio of the total number of mobile users to the population of the Republic of Cyprus in the 2nd half of 2021 showed an increase of 2.8% compared to the 1st half of 2021, reaching 148.7%. The above increases are due to the increase in contract subscriptions.
