The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Bill amending the Laws on Tourism and Travel Agencies and Tourist Guides, as Deputy Government Spokesperson Nivi Parisinou announced after the meeting.
In a written statement, Ms. Parisinou said that the bill is mainly aimed at removing barriers to the provision of tourism services by Tourism and Travel Agencies, by grouping licensed agencies with agencies/companies providing complementary or related activities such as travel insurance, foreign exchange, shipping, car rental and transport,
also at simplifying the inspection and licensing procedures of Tourism and Travel Agencies.
