All Accident and Emergency Departments of General Hospitals are staffed with medical and nursing personnel, State Health Services Organization (SHSO) spokesman Charalambos Harilaou told CNA.

Harilaou was asked to comment on today's announcement by the Pancyprian Guild of Government Doctors (PASYKI) in which it denounces the "ongoing serious understaffing at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Larnaca General Hospital", which it says increases the chances of negative consequences for patients.
