[CNA] AKEL should propose measures that get to the root of the problems, says Government Spokesman

AKEL, if it really wants to contribute, instead of organising protest marches for an admittedly global phenomenon, should finally propose measures that will touch the problems at their root, says Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos.

In a written statement, referring to today's statements by the Secretary General of AKEL and the protest marches organised by AKEL, Mr Pelecanos recommends that AKEL propose measures "beyond the subsidy policy it followed during its years in power, with the well-known tragic results".
