The appreciation of the price of agricultural products will begin to appear from late May to mid-September, says CNA economist George Adalis, who specializes in econometrics, while expressing the estimate that the price of crude oil is heading towards $125 a barrel.
Adalis, who refers to over-accumulation of structural problems (problems in supply chains, rising semiconductor prices), calls on the EU to address the problems of agricultural production today, before "we have reduced production and need new imports".
