The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) and the Swiss Exchange (SIX) have reached an agreement to allow the trading of Cypriot bonds (EMTNs) on the Cypriot money market.
The agreement was announced by Finance Minister Constantinos Petrides, SIX CEO Thomas Zib and CSE Chairman Marinos Christodoulides.
The agreement allows Cypriot European bonds issued in international markets to be traded on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, alongside the London Stock Exchange, with Marinos Christodoulides noting that the increase in financial products offered by the CSE will enhance its liquidity.
