AEL achieved an important victory with 2 - 1 over second-placed Aris on Monday night in the Limassol derby which completed the 19th round of the Pancyprian football league A' category.
AEL took the lead at 20 minutes through Marosa and made it 2 - 0 at 31 minutes through Milinceanu.
Aris managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 at 66 minutes through Spoliaric, a score that remained until the end of the match, despite the six-minute delay added by the referee.
