[CNA] Advice to parents and children on internet safety, from Hope for Children

On the occasion of World Safer Internet Day, the "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center highlights the need to educate both children and their parents/caregivers about the dangers lurking online and gives advice on how to avoid them.

As Hope For Children (HFC) states, both parents and children need to be prepared to manage risks such as online bullying, the presence of child sexual abuse material as advertising, hate speech, violent content, and people targeting children for sexual or other forms of exploitation.

Hope For Children operates Helpline 1466, as well as the European Helpline for Children and Adolescents 116111 and, as the organisation states in a statement, often receives calls from children and adolescents who call
