[CNA] Action against the Republic of Cyprus on long-distance public passenger transport contracts dismissed

The Administrative Court, in its decision today, upheld the decision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works to award the contract of the tender for the provision of long-distance public passenger transport services to the successful economic operator.

In a statement issued today, the Legal Service states that the Court, agreeing with the position of the Legal Service, rejected all the grounds put forward by the applicants and held, inter alia, that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, in the interests of the procedure, applied a uniform and fair method of evaluation of the economic operators concerned and that there was no error or lack of investigation or justification.

The case was handled on behalf of the Attorney General of the Republic by Rena Papaeti Hadjikosta, Attorney General of the Republic, and Stefania Hadjistefanou, Lawyer
