Five drivers under the influence of drugs and six under the influence of alcohol were found behind the wheel during a targeted operation conducted last night by the Paphos Police, reporting a total of 34 drivers.
According to Paphos Police Director Nikos Tsapi, members of the traffic police carried out checks in Paphos and on the secondary road network. Of the 34 traffic complaints, 5 relate to driving under the influence of drugs, 6 relate to driving under the influence of alcohol, 18 relate to driving over the speed limit and the rest are related to minor offences.
