[CNA] A total of 300,357 COVID-19 incidents, as shown after checking the data

The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Cyprus from the beginning of the pandemic until 17 February 2022 is 300,357, the Ministry of Health said in a statement, after checking the data.

Specifically, the Ministry of Health has corrected the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the country from the start of the pandemic until 17 February 2022, stating that they amount to 300,357 cases.

The correction, as noted by the Ministry, came about after a check carried out in the context of preparing the national report with the analysis of epidemiological data, which includes updating the database in which the cases are recorded, with all the data reported in previous months to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit.
