The occupancy rate of the Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as a Reference Hospital, reached 96% today, Amalia Hatzigianni, Scientific Director of the Larnaca - Famagusta Hospitals, told CNA, adding that 81% of the inpatients have not been vaccinated.
She added that "currently 67 patients are hospitalized at Famagusta General Hospital, of which 13 are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as they need closer monitoring. The occupancy rate of the hospital reached 96%, the average age of the hospitalized people is 63 years, while the youngest patient is 31 years old and the oldest 93, both with no history of vaccination."
