[CNA] 912 COVID cases announced on Sunday, 162 hospitalized, 1.7% positivity rate

The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 912 new cases of coronavirus and 162 hospitalizations, with a positive rate of 1.7%. No patient deaths were recorded with COVID-19 as the final cause of death, and the total number of deaths remains at 628. The total number of cases stands at 150,760.

New cases occurred in a total of 53,715 screening tests. [ACCORDING TO THE MINISTRY, 74 PATIENTS ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITION. 80.87% OF THE INPATIENTS HAVE NO HISTORY OF VACCINATION. IN ADDITION, 15 POST-COVID PATIENTS WHO CEASED TO BE INFECTIOUS (DECLASSIFIED CASES) CONTINUE TO BE HOSPITALIZED INTUBATED IN SERIOUS CONDITION DUE TO COVID IN AN ICU.


Of the 628 deaths, 401 are male (63.9%), and 227 are female (36,1%) and the average age of deaths from asthma
