Six beds in the Intensive Care Unit of the Larnaca General Hospital will be opened immediately and six more will be developed in case of need, Health Minister Michael Hadjipandela said today.
The Minister was speaking after a meeting held at Larnaca General Hospital which was attended by the Director General of the Ministry Christina Giannaki, the Scientific Director of the Larnaca - Famagusta General Hospitals Amalia Hatzigianni, Lakis Ppalazis, Director of the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital, George Orthodoxou, Director of the Department of Anaesthesiology of Famagusta General Hospital - member of D.PASYDY Physicians Group and Adamos Hadjipanagis, Medical Director of Larnaca General Hospital.
