The Paphos District Court today issued seven-day detention orders against two persons aged 46 and 44 for the incidents that took place on Monday night in the centre of Paphos, while four other persons aged 17, 25, 20 and 22 are already under eight-day detention since yesterday for the same case to facilitate interrogations, according to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Michael Ioannou.
As part of the investigation of the case of conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanour, hooliganism, causing grievous bodily harm and assault with actual harm concerning incidents in the centre of Paphos on the evening of January 3, 2022 between two groups of people, said Mr. Ioannou, the police proceeded to arrest a total of six persons to facilitate the interrogations and four other persons are wanted, for which they have
