The Limassol District Court issued a detention order for a period of seven days against a 44-year-old man, brother of the confessed murderer of the two women, who committed the crime in mid-November at a country house in Kardama, Limassol district. He is the third suspect arrested in the case of the murder of 33-year-old Mariia Gazibagandova and 43-year-old Khaiat Alraeesi, as a 30-year-old man is in custody along with his 32-year-old brother.
The 44-year-old, who was questioned earlier, was arrested yesterday after evaluating telecommunications data and finding that his mobile phone was transmitting a signal from the Lower Amiantu area on the dates the crime was committed , on November 16 and 17.
