A 40-year-old man was taken into custody for a case of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, on 4.2.22 a complaint was made to the Pafos Police Station by a 34-year-old tourist staying in Pafos that on 2.2.22 around 02:30 in the morning he went with a friend to a kiosk in Pafos with her car.
As reported by the complainant, while sitting in the passenger seat a black vehicle stopped right next to them and the driver opened the window , started shouting at them and asked the complainant why he was looking at him.
At some point the driver of the black vehicle got out of the vehicle and with a ferocious attitude allegedly approached the passenger door where the complainant was. Then the driver of the other vehicle allegedly started shouting and yelling
