The Larnaca District Court today issued an 8-day detention order against three people aged 44, 23 and 19 years old, to facilitate police investigations into the ongoing murder case of Andreas Evangellou, 53 years old, committed last December in Larnaca.
Specifically, the three persons aged 44, 23 and 19 are suspected of offences involving conspiracy to commit murder, premeditated murder, participation in a criminal organisation, participation and acceptance of the commission of crimes, illegal possession and transport of a firearm and illegal possession and transport of explosives.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested for the same case and is suspected of offences relating to participation in a criminal organisation, participation in and acceptance of the commission of crimes and destruction of evidence.
