The Limassol District Court issued a detention order for a period of 8 days against a 37-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday in connection with burglary and theft cases, after he was identified by the complainant.
Specifically, in the context of investigating three cases of burglary and theft of premises in Yermasogeia, which occurred between January 29 and February 3, testimony against this person, who was spotted yesterday by the complainant, moving suspiciously in the area, emerged.
In the complainant's attempt to subdue him, the 37-year-old allegedly brandished a knife and subsequently fled, only to be spotted again during the day.
