The admission that last Wednesday he grabbed his 2.5-month-old baby girl and shook her violently until she stopped crying was allegedly made by a 37-year-old father, who along with the 22-year-old mother are under eight-day detention as suspects for manslaughter.
According to police, when questioned, the 37-year-old allegedly confessed that in his attempt to stop the child from crying, he shook the child violently. The infant stopped crying and he put it in its crib.
