In the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Friday until 06.00 today), 2,140 checks were carried out by the Police nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with the measures and the implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Law and, as a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, told CNA, there were 19 complaints from citizens and 16 complaints concerning establishments.
In terms of checks by province, 574 checks were carried out in Nicosia, which resulted in 12 complaints from citizens and 11 from establishments, 189 checks were carried out in Limassol, which resulted in 4 complaints from citizens and 3 from establishments, and 492 checks were carried out in Larnaca, without any complaint, in Paphos 155 checks were carried out, resulting in one citizen and 2 establishments, 432
