A 34-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday by members of the police, was detained by court order for five days for the purpose of police investigations in connection with an ongoing case of possession and distribution of child pornography material.
The case is being investigated by the Electronic Crime Sub-Division.
According to a police statement, the 34-year-old man was arrested on a court warrant by members of the Electronic Crime Sub-Division at around 12 noon.
